40 Years of Wedded Bliss...

Hello my friend,

How are you? I hear it is a little FC (f’n cold) in Manitoba. I feel for you for sure. We had a little cold spell here in Mexico where I actually put on a pair of jeans...I know, I know...

Otherwise, everything is peachy here. Wes is presently installing a new water heater in my tiny home. My appliances have slowly rusted out over the years and he graciously repairs things to keep me comfortable. What a guy!

Wes has moved out to his lovely jungle home where he enjoys the quietness and the birds. I find it hard to leave the water...being a Virgo and all.

It may seem odd that we live separate at times but it works for us. It is our 40th wedding anniversary, February 2nd. Not that we haven’t had bumps along the way but, we have managed to be loving and respectful of our individual needs.

Some days I can hardly believe how lucky I am to live the life I do. Four months of living at the beach in Mexico, an amazing family, a healthy business and all the gorgeous food I can eat.

If you feel like your life needs a little perk up, here is a little inspiration from Rhonda Byrne about asking for what you want:

“Ask, believe, receive, just three simple steps to create what you want. However, very often, the second step, believe, can be the most difficult. And yet, it is the greatest step you will ever take. Believing contains no doubt. Believing does not waiver. Believing is absolute faith. Believing remains steadfast despite what is happening in the outside world. When you master believing, you have mastered your life.”

That is big and I always need the reminder...believe...believe...believe...

I believe in the Lady of the Lake and all it provides for you and me. She is an awesome business and hopefully you are able to enjoy her to the fullest on these chilly days.

Did you take advantage of the January UPSTAIRS Sale and purchase something pretty for your home? Have you savoured a warm bowl of soup to heat up your innards? Did you pick Melissa’s talented brain on your upcoming renovation? Have you had high-tea yet?

Ahh, I want to thank you so much for being a loyal follower of the Lady. I am sending a big, colourful, tropical hug your way...muchas gracious amigo...talk to ya soon, xoB
